Who we are

This website is run by PrecisionLaserClean.ie (“we”, “us”), a laser cleaning business serving customers across Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us:

• Quote form. Your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, job location, the service you need and your description of the job.
• Email and phone. Anything you send us directly, including photos and site details, and notes we make when you call.
• Customers. If you go ahead with a job: site address, contact details, quotes, invoices and payment records.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and this website does not set cookies.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. This is a step you ask us to take before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). You also confirm this when you tick the consent box on the form.
• To carry out and invoice the work. Needed to perform our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)).
• To keep business and tax records. Required by Irish law (Article 6(1)(c)).

We never sell your data and we will not send you marketing.

Who we share it with

We only share personal data with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need:

• Website and email hosting. OVHcloud hosts this website and delivers quote-form submissions to our inbox, on servers in the EU.
• Web fonts. Pages load the Inter font from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. No cookies are set.
• Professional advisers and authorities. Our accountant, insurers or Revenue, where needed for business records or required by law.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep job and invoice records for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, as Irish tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to give you a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it. Email info@precisionlaserclean.ie and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS, and form submissions go straight to our inbox; they are not stored on the web server. Access to our email and records is limited to the people who need it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
